Here's what happened:

Jet fell down an entire storey.
We bought a leash and harness at Walmart and took the kitties for a walk.
Bighead and I decided to be Calvin and Hobbes for Halloween.
I got "swine flu".

Not doing much for the next two weeks; Bighead's birthday is next Tuesday, so we'll have a pie and probably not do much else.

We leave for the cottage in Quebec on July 24 and are leaving for home on the 31. We're going to take a detour through Ottawa and stay there for the night. We'll be back in T-Dot on August 1, probably mid to late afternoon.

I have a little over a week of ~no plans~ once we get home. I start NFB claymation camp with my best friend Katelyn on August 10 and end on the 14.

Then I have NO PLANS! And school starts super late this year because of when Labour Day happens; the first day is the 8th. So, yeah, 3 weeks of nothingness. I don't know if I can handle that. I wish I could stay at the cottage all summer. All I need is a huge pile of library books (which, uh, it would help if I had a non-cancelled card *cough cough*) and I'm set!

ANYWAY! I was actually writing this to tell people who care that I'm planning on starting blogging again once I get back from the cottage. I don't want to do it before that because I really want to make a habit of doing it 3-4 times a week; if I start now, I'll do it for about two weeks before I go away into the middle of nowhere (I can't even get a cell phone signal, much less WiFi) and my habit will be broken. Once I get back, however, I can just blog until I drop! So I'm working pretty hard on my site so I can get it done before I go away and start pretty much as soon as I get back.

I just found this post. I won't link to it, because my site's on maintenance mode. I'll just post the important parts.

Sometimes I feel like I'm not an interesting enough person to maintain a blog. My life isn't anything special—I'm just another high school student, and I don't want to blog about how much I hate science or how I'm doing exceptionally well in math right now.

I sometimes have mildly interesting ideas, but I either blog about them (therefore running out of fascinating blog topics) or can't quite figure out how to properly put them into words.

Pretty much why I gave up on it.

I have considered taking an extended break, but I don't think I could stay away for too long.

I was so, so wrong. Although maybe the fact that I post here doesn't count - but my DW/LJ accounts are SO different from my normal blog! I'd never post anything in this journal on my blog. This is for posts that I don't want the whole world seeing, and just random memes, etc.

I'm finding it quite easy to NOT blog, actually.
