That's good that you can do the Science in Society class! I agree, it's much better to take subjects you like than subjects your friends are in. When I was picking VCE subjects, I chose History 1/2 and International Studies 3/4 even though my friends hated history and politics. IS was even a distance education subject, just to illustrate my commitment to doing subjects I liked even further!
I didn't do any sciences in my VCE, except for Psychology. I actually wouldn't have minded continuing with some sciences (okay, pretty much just physics), but they didn't fit with my other subjects, so I didn't take them. Oh yeah and I dropped Maths completely for year 12, because I was taking the easy class (they blocked the hard one with History, annoyingly) and I was cruising through it bored out of my brains. I picked up Philosophy instead. The lack of maths/sciences didn't work out badly for me, either :)
Your electives sound interesting. And Comp Sci totally sounds like it counts as a science to me ;P
