k, so, I actually read all that 'cause it was quite interesting. and here are some responses in a random order:
No one I know says the "hundred" in a highways name. That would be weiiiiird.
Hey, even I've been to the CN tower! lol.
Rogers Centre/Skydome - I'm guessing Rogers bought the Skydome? Do you know how long ago the name change happened? There was a similar issue in O-town when Scotiabank bought the stadium that Corel used to own (according to wikipedia, it was Feb 06). People still call it the Corel Centre sometimes, but the percentage who call it Scotiabank Place increases every day. We're adjusting ;P
If you're ever in Ottawa, it's 737-11-11.
I bet more people would go for the 18/over drinking age in Quebec!
Oh yeah, a lot of people in O-town call your city T-dot. I don't know why they think it's cool; it doesn't sound very nice to me.
YTV - oh come on, that has to be a Canada-wide thing! Only channel I watched... actually, I would go to TVO for Arthur.
I am jealous of the atmosphere during the World Cup. I miss that kind of craziness and excitement they always had in Egypt.
