Toshiba sucks.

This entry should be of interest to anyone who is thinking of purchasing a Toshiba laptop. I have had some marvelously bad luck with mine, and it's only 4 months old.
I bought my laptop (Satellite L300) on January 16. (So, exactly 4 months ago.) It cost me $650, and I was completely happy with it.
Then, about two months after I got it, the hard drive crashed for no apparent reason. It took over 3 weeks to get it replaced, and I had to pay $180 for my recovery disc... after I had JUST purchased the laptop. So, I had to pay Toshiba for THEIR ERROR. (And their customer service sucked, but I won't go into that.)
So, I was already pretty miffed about the whole thing, but I did get it back and all was well blah blah blah... until it started becoming VERY laggy for no reason. I scanned it, defragged it, rebooted multiple times, uninstalled unused programs, cleaned out my hard drive, and nothing worked. It was just laggy for no reason. Firefox crashes on me about 3-5 times a day. There are some programs that I can't even run.
And, the kicker: the disc drive won't work.
If I try to play music off a CD, a game off a CD ROM, or a TV show or movie off a DVD, I get an error that basically goes LOL CAN'T FIND DISC DRIVE TRY AGAIN. It's annoying, but rebooting 1-2 times works.
Well. Up until today.
I have just rebooted 5 times in a row to try to get the stupid disc drive to work. And guess what? IT'S NOT WORKING. It keeps throwing errors left and right.
It's the stupidest thing. This only started happening after I got my computer back, which was after EVERYTHING WAS RESTORED TO FACTORY SETTINGS. So, it's more or less like getting a BRAND NEW LAPTOP with huge issues. I am SO MAD. I mean, I would understand if the computer cost 150 bucks or was 8 years old, but I paid a good chunk of money for it and it's only 4 months old! I am so frustrated right now and I just want to cry. I don't have the money to buy another laptop right now. I have to deal with this stupid computer.
AGHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
